Proceeds Provide Homeless Families with Computer Training and Job Skills

SILICON VALLEY, Calif., March 29, 2000 - Namezero.com, the only Internet domain name registrar to provide free .com domain names and personalized, domain name e-mail with its free patent pending Namezero Passport service, is sponsoring the Computer Hope Benefit on Thursday, April 6, at Paramount Studios in Hollywood.

The Computer Hope Benefit is a segment of Planet Hope, an organization founded by Kelly Stone, her sister, actress Sharon Stone and established with generous funding from the Lee Iacocca Foundation. Planet Hope provides assistance to homeless and disadvantaged children and their families. All proceeds of the event go to Computer Hope, Planet Hope and Chrysalis, an organization that provides job placements for Hope program participants.

Namezero.com believes in and supports Computer Hope's primary goal of improving quality of life through computer access and education. Namezero.com is offering all Hope program participants a .com domain name, domain name email account and Namezero Passport service. Once signed up, program participants will have a personalized, easy-to-use .com domain name and email service to assist them immediately in their job search.

"We are thrilled that Namezero.com has made such a generous contribution to this landmark event that joins together the entertainment and Internet industries to bring technology, job security and hope to those who are less fortunate," said Kelly Stone, co-founder of Planet Hope. "Namezero's service is a much needed tool for our program participants, it offers access to technology without regard to their income."

"The founders of Namezero, Frank Stanbach, Bruce Keiser and I are pleased to be a part of Planet Hope's mission to provide the homeless a chance to re-join society through computer training and jobs," said Dan Hoffman, co-founder and CEO of Namezero.com. "We support Planet Hope because they resonate our belief that the Internet is an open platform which should be available to everyone."

The Computer Hope Benefit is expected to attract up to 3,000 guests, including top executives from leading Internet businesses.
