Due to a change at the com/net registry, transfer regulations have changed for all .COM and .NET domain names. Authorization codes will now be required to transfer domain names to NameZero.
To obtain an authorization code, you will need to contact your current registrar. You will be required to provide this authorization code to complete the domain transfer process with us.
If your domain is already registered with us, you have nothing to worry about. This notice is only for those who have their domains registered elsewhere and are in process of transferring OR planning to transfer to us.

We welcome the
opportunity to serve you as your new registrar.
However, we must ask that you do not proceed until
you have read the following checklist. The transfer
process can be completed quickly if done correctly.
Are you sure that you are going to
be able to transfer this domain? Here are some
things to check.
Have you:
1) Checked to make sure your domain
is paid up-to-date with your current registrar?
If you cannot receive e-mail to that
address, you must make arrangements with your current
registrar to get this corrected before you apply for
the transfer. Otherwise, your request will simply time
out after 7-9 days.
2) Checked to
make sure you have access to the e-mail address listed
in the Whois as the Admin contact e-mail address? Whois
Lookup
If you cannot receive e-mail to that
address, you must make arrangements with your current
registrar to get this corrected before you apply for
the transfer. Otherwise, your request will simply time
out after 7-9 days
3) Ensured that your domain is old enough
to be transferred?
The Registry will not allow the transfer
to complete if the domain has not been registered for
at least 60 days. This is to ensure that the current
registrar has not been cheated in any way.
*Please note, once you start this process
your credit card will be charged. If there are any problems
with the transfer, you will not be refunded until the
process has timed out. It can take 7-9 days for
a transfer to time out if you do not receive the confirmation
e-mail, and confirm, or deny the transfer. We cannot
terminate the transfer ourselves.
**Also, once you start the transfer
process you cannot make any physical changes to your
domain until the transfer has completed or timed out.
