| Don’t you want your favorite pages to have short, easy to remember URLs? You can do that and still keep your web page at your current host. When someone types your new domain name into their browser, they can see the content of any web page you chose. For example, if you built a page at http://membersites.namezero.com/erik.idirections.com/linus it would be hard to people to remember it and type it in right. But with URL forwarding, you can just tell them to go to www.rtsmith.com. URL forwarding works with pages you built or any other page you want people to find… a friend’s site, a discussion board, any URL! |
