What is a Domain Name?
A domain name, web address or URL is an address assigned to individuals or companies in order for them to be located on the World Wide Web (www). A domain name consists of a series of alphanumeric characters and identifies a server location on the Internet. It is familiar to most people as the .com, .net, .org or .cc web address of a company or individual.

How many domain names can I register?
You may use the Plus Service to purchase more than one domain name including the Plus Namezero services. Multiple domains with no Namezero services and no hosting included may be purchased using our Bulk services available here.

What types of domain names can I register ?
Namezero currently registers .com, .net, .org, .cc and .info domain names.

How many numbers and letters can I use in my domain name?
The maximum number of characters is 63, however some Internet browsers may only support domain names of fewer than 26 characters.
  • You can use any letter from A-Z
  • You can use any number between 0-9
  • You can use a hyphen (-) but it cannot be at the beginning or end of the domain name
  • You CANNOT use underscores, periods or any punctuation marks other than the hyphen
