What is Web Mail?

This makes it ideal for remote access while you are on the road, or at a computer other than the one with your Outlook or Eudora desktop mail client. What is POP Mail?
POP stands for Post Office Protocol and is e-mail that is delivered to a shared mail server where the user periodically connects to the server and downloads their mail. POP provides the storage and forwarding service which moves mail on demand from a mailserver to your PC. Once you download your mail from a POP server, the mail is deleted from the server. POP mail allows you to view your mail using your desktop client such as Outlook Express or Eudora, and does not require you to access a Web mail interface. POP mail is more convenient for most users who use one computer frequently to access their mail.

Is my e-mail password the same as my domain password?
When you get your new domain name, the password for both the domain and the email are the same. Since your domain name password allows you to update your email password at any time by updating the email password setting in the domain control panel, changing one will not automatically update the other.
